The gardens were beautiful and perfectly situated for the lake. The hotel staff were professional and friendly. The location is ideal for visiting the lake. I appreciated the kind service from everyone.
The patio received shade for most of the day. Our room was stifling with very little air. The bar man was rude to other guests. He rolled his eyes at them when they complained.

Breakfast had excellent selection with big portions. The staff were cute and helpful, a real asset. I loved seeing the highland cattle near the hotel. The room had space and the bed felt comfy.
I could hear showers and taps running at all hours from room 24. The pillows are very uncomfortable and disrupt sleep.

Parking has ample space available to guests. The hotel is close to the Lake District with easy access to attractions. You can see highland cattle behind the hotel, offering a unique experience.

Rooms are spacious with contemporary furnishings, a nice update. The rooms are clean upon arrival, and well-kept throughout the stay. Rooms may require minor repairs, but they are still functional.

The location is in the Lakes District, between two main areas. The hotel is set back from the road so it is a quiet retreat. It is best to have a car since the bus stop is a short walk away.

Staff treats dogs well. They receive treats and toys. The restaurant is really good with dogs allowed. The staff are polite, friendly, and very courteous to everyone.

The location felt very convenient. The food tasted delicious. Rooms provided good size. The staff was very nice and really helpful. I appreciate that the hotel is dog friendly and also very clean. The room decor was lovely EVERYWHERE.
Drinks from the bar cost too MUCH.

The room offered everything needed. Bed was comfortable. Cleanliness was apparent throughout. Towels felt fluffy. A varied selection of teas and coffees were available along with a coffee maker.

Breakfast was tasty. The menu had a good choice. Evening meals WERE very tasty. Plenty of options existed. It was a great dining experience overall, and i am glad i chose this.

Parking available onsite provides ample space. Mature trees surrounded the house. A pretty garden and an outside seating area created a calming mood. Lounges created comfortable spaces.
